How Your Vision CAN Create A Valuable Brand

Steve Jobs, the mastermind behind one of the most successful companies in the world. The creator of a brand that is so powerful a lot of us do not even realise the impact it has on our daily lives; which is why I was so disappointed to read so many negative comments in relation to this...

I first saw the post when scrolling through my Facebook news feed recently, and then from there I think I have seen and read about it a thousand times over. It seems that everyone has an opinion on a man they have never met. Even though there were positive comments, there were also a lot of negative and I struggle to understand why...

Being a creatively crazy person myself, it can commonly get confused with arrogance, egotistical and being critical, but really is just the driving force to create what we invision, and in most cases that is hard for some people to understand. People are so quick to judge without seeing the bigger picture. Steve Jobs may or may not have been all of these things, but he had a vision that was greater then anyone of us could conjure up ourselves. He saw things that we did not even know we needed or wanted. My biggest applaud to Steve however was his ability through his vision, to create a brand that is so distinct and speaks so strongly to the people that he not only has created technology that has changed the world, but created a movement, a following. This movement has thousands of people lining the streets for a new product launch just so they can be one of the first. Do you see anyone lining the streets for a new Microsoft Surface Pro?

I could ramble on all day about my love for this brand (really I can), but the point of this blog is not to share with you my fascination for Steve Jobs, but rather help you understand how the power of one mans vision helped create one of the top leading brands of today and probably for many more years to come.

It does not matter how small or insignificant you may think your business is to the world, if you have a strong vision and wrap a brand around it, it will speak to the people who will live and breath your mission every single day.

Whenever anyone questions the power of a brand, I say 'Have you heard of Apple?'.

Is your brand speaking your vision?
